Alan Watkins

Born and raised in Raleigh, NC, Alan Watkins is a software engineer/university professor by day and independent film maker by night! He first became interested in film making while in college, and although his main career took a different path, he is very interested in all aspects of the film making process from writing and directing to lighting and special effects makeup. His recent work includes Loneliness which he wrote and produced, A Few Brains More where he played a zombie and was the lighting technician, Perception (lighting), Flush with Fear (gaffer), and Watch Your Back which he wrote, produced and directed. All of these films are currently in the festival circuit.
