Emily Lavin Leverett


Emily Lavin Leverett is a writer and editor of speculative fiction and a professor of medieval English literature. Changeling’s Fall, the first book in the Eisteddfod Chronicles and co-written with Sarah Joy Adams, debuted in 2016, and the sequel, Winter’s Heir will be out in 2018. She has co-edited several anthologies, most recently Lawless Lands: Tales from the Weird Frontier, co-edited with Misty Massey and Margaret McGraw, debuted in the Summer of 2017. Her short fiction has appeared in anthologies and magazines includingAthena’s Daughters II. Along with her fiction, Emily does scholarly work on Terry Pratchett, exploring the ways he uses medieval romance in his Discworld Novels. An edited collection of essays with Kristin Noone, Ethics in the Worlds of Terry Pratchett, will be out in 2018.
