Meet the recipient of MystiCon’s 2012 Scholarship!
My name is Alana Broholm. I was born on December 28, 1993. I have lived in Franklin County, Virginia my whole life. I attended Roanoke Catholic School for five years and currently attend Franklin County High School as a senior. I am very active in extracurricular activities in my school. I have been in the marching band for two years, as well as indoor drum line and the schools drama program. I am also active in the school’s art department.
I have been captivated by art for the better part of twelve years. I have always strived and pushed myself to become better as an artist, and I still have much to learn and improve. I am honored to have achieved the MystiCon scholarship and I will plan on entering more of my work in various shows and contests. I one day plan to attend an art college to pursue my dream in becoming a better artist.
